Prof. Yajing Shen

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, China

Yajing Shen is a Professor in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong, China. He also serves as the Associate Director of the HKUST Robotics Institute and the Director of the Center for Intelligent Manufacturing. Dr. Shen’s research focuses on biomedical robotics, tactile sensing, and robotic manipulation. He has published more than 200 academic papers, and his work has been featured by major media outlets including CCTV, Associated Press, Thomson Reuters, The Times, Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting (Japan), TVB, and Global Times. He has received numerous awards and honors, including the IEEE Japan Chapter Young Award, the Best Manipulation Paper Award at IEEE ICRA, the Best Paper Award at IEEE MHS, the Hong Kong Research Grants Council Early Career Award, the Big-on-Small Award, recognition as an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer, the “National Excellent Young Scientist Fund (Hong Kong & Macau),” and election as a Fellow of the Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences.

Prof. Huawei Huang

Huawei Huang is a professor at Sun Yat-sen University and a dual-appointment professor at Lingnan College of SYSU. Since 2021, he has been consecutively recognized among the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University. His research interests include blockchain systems and protocols, blockchain finance protocols, and trusted infrastructure for AI agents. He has published numerous research papers in CCF-A journals and conferences such as IEEE/ACM ToN, JSAC, TPDS, TSC, TDSC, TIFS, TMC, TC, and INFOCOM. He has served as chair for many academic conferences, workshops, and symposiums. He has published three blockchain monographs, as well as a popular blockchain science book, namely “From Blockchain to Web3: building the next-generation Internet”. Under his leadership, his team developed and open-sourced a blockchain experimental tool, BlockEmulator, which provides researchers a mature, high-quality experimental framework and code base. BlockEmulator has served researchers from over 90 countries and regions worldwide.

Assoc. Prof. Ata Jahangir Moshayed

Dr. Ata Jahangir Moshayedi (From Iran) received his Ph.D. in Electronic Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and a Life Member of the Instrument Society of India and the Speed Society of India. He actively contributes to the global academic and research community through his extensive involvement as a reviewer, editorial board member, and technical committee member for numerous international journals and conferences. Over recent years, Dr. Moshayedi has delivered more than 50 invited keynote speeches and academic presentations at international conferences and research events. His innovative contributions have also resulted in significant intellectual property achievements, including three granted patents and seventeen registered software copyrights in China.
